Acceptance Criteria:
- Approved Designers: High end designer fashion brands. Please check our Designers page for more information on what brands we are currently accepting. Kindly Contact Us for brands in low stock / not available on site.
- Condition Requirements: No basics (cotton shorts, tank tops, etc), No outdated styles unless vintage and sellable, Little to No Wear (Slight wear ok, no stains, tears, irreparable damage). Only 100% Authentic Pieces.
Making a Booking :
- Kindly make a booking at least 1-2 business days in advance so that the Restyle Valet team can get back to you if any items are not to be accepted.
- Please fill in the items you would like to send through to Restyle Valet with as much detail as possible. This helps our team to provide reliable feedback on which items we can assist with and which not to send in.
- You can choose to go ahead with the pickup without describing your items, however items that we cannot accept will not be listed. If items fall under our Acceptance Criteria, this should not be an issue. Please note that Approved Designers are subject to change, so do Contact Us if in doubt.
- If we receive items we cannot accept, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of shipping or processing these items before they are returned or repossess or mark them off for donation if the fee remains unpaid within the timeline stipulated over email. This applies to all customers using our Restyle Valet Service.
Restyle Valet Consignment Terms and Conditions :
Read the following carefully, as your use of our services implies that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions. We reserves the right to change or modify current Terms and Conditions with no prior notice. This site restylecloset.com.au is owned and operated by Restyle Closet Pty Ltd (the 'Company'). Please carefully read, review and be sure you understand our Terms and Conditions prior to using any of our services from restylecloset.com.au. If you don't agree to these terms then you should leave this website immediately, not use any of the materials, services or products available herein, and/or not subscribe to this service.
- Restyle Closet offers a full consignment service under the name Restyle Valet. The name of this service can be subjected to change if necessary. We accept designer and luxury items that fall into our list of designers, and on a case-by-case basis reserves the right to reject items from this list of designers or accept brands that are not on this list. We accept a broad range of items, from clothing, footwear, bags, wallets, clutches, sunglasses, jewellery, and more.
- The items under possession are indicated in the Restyle Valet Item Checklist that is provided after pickup. All items must be documented in this Checklist. Any items that are not included will not be the responsibility of Restyle Closet.
- All items consigned needs to be confirmed to be authentic. We will refuse any items that are counterfeit. If an item is deemed to be not authentic, we will not be able to return it and would have to destroy it as it is illegal to be in possession of such items. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards counterfeit items.
- The item is allowed to have some wear from normal usage if deemed to be gently used, however any external stains, tears, marks, and other obvious damage will not be accepted. We do not take in items that are so outdated that they will no longer be in demand. We do take in classic and vintage items in good condition. We will refuse basics such as simple tank tops, plain tees, skirts, jeans and pants that would also not be of interest to our customers.
- Consigned items must be cleaned before being sent in. Items must be well presented and free of odours (clothing will not be accepted if the smell of smoke, moth balls or any other prominent odour is present). If repairs are necessary, any costs shall be paid by the consignor. If not paid in full, Restyle Closet will deduct fees from any earnings made through our site.
- We will price items sold with us via Restyle Valet only after items are received. It is the responsibility of the customer to check if the items in her Closet have prices that are agreeable and contact our team with any questions. However, please note that these prices will be revised as required to sell, and pricing is at our full discretion. Pricing is largely determined by the brand, their likelihood of holding a sale, and the condition, age, style and popularity of the item. That being said, our compensation is commission-based, and fully aligned to get you the best price possible.
- Consignor receives 75% of the final sale price; Restyle Closet retains 25% of the final sale price (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
- Items will be held for as long as needed with Restyle Closet, until a Return Request is made. Each Return will be chargeable to the consignor, and includes shipping, packing and handling costs. Items need to be kept with Restyle Closet for a minimum of 6 months from the time they are listed, else a $20 fee will be charged per item in addition to any Return costs. Each Return will be chargeable to the consignor, and includes shipping, packing and handling costs. All shipments are insured up to $1,500 by default, however these are subject to our partner, Fastway’s own Terms and Conditions. Requests need to be made for additional insurance on shipments.
- It is the Consignor’s responsibility to check on consigned items during the consignment period and/or Request for their Return when required. When items have been marked for Return, it is also the consignor’s responsibility to notify us if the delivery has not been received. If no contact has been made, we will assume that the item has been safely delivered as indicated on the Tracking Number.
- When a sale on the items occurs, the item will be sent to the buyer, with a grace period of 2 days after receipt, before funds are released to the Consignor. There may be some processing time involved between release of funds and receipt by the Consignor’s bank. It is the responsibility of the Consignor to ensure bank details are alrady received by Restyle Closet to ensure smooth processing of fees, or delays may occur.
- The utmost care will be taken with your garments whilst they remain on our premises. However, as garments may be tried on by potential customers or staff for photographing of items, although highly unlikely, slight marks or damage can occasionally occur. Restyle Closet will take no responsibility for any claims of damage that may occur during the consignment period.
